Jim Dunn to speak at June 18th 2002 WAPA meeting

Jim Dunn will be the featured speaker at the WAPA meeting, this Tuesday, June 18th, at 7:30 pm. This should be a really interesting presentation, so don't miss it!

From the Aviation Tomorrow website Jim Dunn is the executive director of the Foundation for Advancing Science and Technology (FASTec), which is sponsoring development of the Electric Aircraft (Electra-plane). He also is the president of Advanced Technology Products, Inc., of Westborough, MA which is building the aircraft. Jim also serves as Chief Technical Officer for the Center for Technology Commercialization, NASA's New England Regional Technology Transfer Center.

The prototype will be based upon the American Ghiles Aircraft DynAero Lafayette III. Our own Vice President, Larry Pray, has already built one of these kits. He has volunteered to help, and is serving as a source of information as questions arise during construction.
