News and Tidbits

DaveR writes: No big changes in GA security at PVC yet. We flew out there on July 5. We landed, parked in the grass, walked up to the shack and paid our $5.00. Some of the new fencing is in and there's a fancy new gate at the end of the walk from the shack with a keycard a keypad. It was propped open with a rock.

DaveR? also writes: I have a report that Brian Corliss, the AOPA Northeast Regional Rep has gone to work for the TSA. Brian is a former FBI agent so the TSA is a good fit for his background. Whether having somebody like him in the TSA will help, hurt, or make any difference to GA remains to be seen.
