MAC Holding Up Airport Badges

Ron Stella called today to report: MAC is crosschecking airport access badges with aircraft registrations and will not issue any new badges until the 2003 aircraft registration fee has been paid. Also, Ron also reported that There is now a deadline of 6/1/2003 for obtaining your MAC badge for Worcester

MAC 2003 Aircraft Registrations

Please contact MAC @ 617-973-8881 to get your paperwork started for your 2003 MAC registration sticker. As I understand it, in the past MAC just sent out renewal paperwork when it was time for a new sticker. However, now that they are requiring a 2003 sticker before you get a MAC badge, you can call up for a renewal if you would like to get a badge as soon as possible. Once you have a badge this should make access to/from your aircraft a whole lot easier! Thanks for the patience everyone has shown while this new program gets implemented. Ron, Just to let you know, I received my 2003 renewal application in mid December. So it appears that they are a little ahead of the curve this time around.
