Shirley Airport has closed

Gregg Andrews wrote in to report that Shirley Airport has closed. Here is the note from the Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission.

Please note:

The MAC has received official notice that the Shirley Airport (9B4) is now closed to public use; the airport has changed status to a Private Restricted Landing Area (PRLA).

[Ed. According to the most recent MAC based aircraft report, (Reported here previously) Shirley only reported 1 based aircraft at the end of last year. They join Palmer Airport which also changed status to Private use last year.]
