Is your aircraft registration at risk?

AOPA reports here and the EAA reports here and here about the upcoming FAA crackdown on Aircraft Registrations with incorrect addresses. The EAA included a link to List of Incorrect Registrations. A quick check of the Worcester County List shows some familiar names. There are 39 aircraft listed as registered in Worcester County that are subject to action in February 2006.

The EAA article states that "that operators of aircraft identified as having questionable registrations and/or no TSA required security measures/waivers will be notified of the deficiency. A pilot deviation will be filed on the operator, who may be denied access to the NAS. If the operator is not the owner, both operator and owner will be notified of the deficiency and both will be subject to any action deemed warranted by the agency in accordance with local, state and federal regulations."

So best to check the list and make sure that your aircraft is not listed for possible action after the February deadline!
