TFRs Today and through Monday!

George Clark writes:AOPA sent out an alert that there are two TFRs that will be in our backyard starting today Thursday June 28. The 2nd TFR runs from Thursday afternoon through Monday afternoon in varying locations and altitudes. Be sure to check with FSS!

for more details, graphics, and links to the TFR information.

The 2nd TFR started Thursday at 3:30 PM over Kennebunkport Maine, and runs through Monday afternoon. See the AOPA TFR notice or http://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_7_6080.html With this TFR both the 10 and 30 mile zones move around. So check with FSS!small 7 6080.gif
The first is a 30 Mile TFR centered on Newport Rhode Island. Runs Thursday from 10 AM until 3:30 PM. There will be multiple 10 Mi. No Fly Zones so be sure to check with FSS for the latest information. See http://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_7_6071.html small 7 6071.gif

Obviously this is all subject to change. Check with FSS, and the FAA TFR List at http://tfr.faa.gov/tfr2/list.html (Note that the FAA web listing is not approved for flight planning. FSS is the only source).

The salary pilots make is another thing I like. They make more money than they know what to do with. This is because most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots don't because they know how easy it is. --5th grade student
