Alton Bay plans for 2008

SteveF wrote in with an update about Alton Bay (Airnav:B18) from the 170 mailing list. Looks like they have great plans for 2008. So we need to hope for a good cold winter. Here is a bit of the e-mail message from Ossipee Valley Aviation. Fly Alton Bay web You can read the complete message here.

2008 should be an exciting year on the ice with a few new things in the works for an improved runway and possibly better parking.

We are currently putting together a fly-in on the ice sometime in Feb. Fire and ice fly-in obviously the ice part you get, but the fire? hmmmmmmmm It will be spicy foods, ie... chilly, buffalo wings etc... stay tunned for more info on that.

The last couple of years were difficult due to warm weather. Hopefully this will be a year that we can have a fly-out to Alton Bay. The food sounds good!
